# Introduction

Hello AI is an Agent Work Receipt (AWR) platform that gives every AI-driven healthcare action a tamper-evident, compliance-ready audit trail. Every appointment booked, payment collected, or form completed by an AI agent is captured as a cryptographically-signed receipt — enabling you to answer billing disputes, satisfy HIPAA requirements, and settle payments without manual review.

## What you can do with the API

Submit agent actions in real time. Each event is validated against your active policy rule packs and converted into a receipt.

## How it works

1. **Your AI agent takes an action** — books an appointment, collects a payment, updates an EHR record.
2. **You call `POST /events`** — Hello AI validates the event against your policy rule packs and creates a receipt.
3. **The receipt is cryptographically signed** — tamper-evident, timestamped, and stored with full evidence retention.
4. **Query receipts at any time** — for billing, compliance audits, or dispute resolution.
